- Investigation and design support for the pipe replacement program in various locations within the Klang Valley (Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, and Putrajaya).
- To date, Straits have supported the client in rolling out over 40km of replacement of old communication pipes in high density areas, connecting up to the customers’ water meters, throughout the region.
Scope of Services
- Provided engineering consultancy services, land survey and utility detection mapping, soil investigation, mechanical and electrical systems design, pursue and obtain authority approvals, stakeholders’ engagements (local representatives, DUN, MP, Council Members, residential associations), coordination with other utility providers, preparation of tender documents, contract administration support, construction supervision, handover, testing and commissioning, defects liability period, and final accounts.
